Sen: 70 shares recorded through Crowdcube
Backing commercial space capability, Earth observation and access to information from orbit.
Silverstein National Defense Investments records Taylor Silverstein’s holding of 70 shares in Sen through Crowdcube. The underlying Silverstein Ventures record identifies an active private investment, a primary investment route and a source record date of 10 October 2026.
Rationale within SNDI
Backing Sen aligns with SNDI’s focus on space infrastructure, advanced technology and capabilities of national importance. Sen puts privately developed imaging hardware into orbit and makes views of Earth accessible beyond the space sector. Its relevance to SNDI lies in the connection between orbital infrastructure, Earth observation and public access to information. This is a strategic fit with SNDI’s remit, rather than a claim that Sen performs a military or intelligence function.
SpaceTV-1 and European space infrastructure
Sen’s SpaceTV-1 camera system provides live 4K views of Earth and the International Space Station. Sen states that the system is hosted under a commercial agreement with Airbus U.S. Space & Defense. The cameras use the ArgUS adapter on Airbus’s Bartolomeo platform, attached to the European Space Agency’s Columbus module. [1]
Airbus operates Bartolomeo as a service for institutional and private payloads. Its partnership with ESA provides a route for commercial activity on European ISS infrastructure. Sen demonstrates one use of that capability by bringing live Earth imagery to the public. This describes participation in the infrastructure, rather than an established direct Sen procurement contract with ESA. [2]
NASA and the ISS programme
The ISS National Laboratory identifies SpaceTV-1 among the demonstrations using ArgUS. It reports that ArgUS travelled on SpaceX’s 30th Commercial Resupply Services mission, which was contracted by NASA. Sen’s launch announcement also states that NASA determines the installation schedule on the station. These are documented programme and operational connections. The reviewed sources do not establish a direct procurement contract between NASA and Sen. [3] [4]
Commercial distribution
ITV Studios’ Zoo 55 announced a partnership with Sen to distribute Space Live, with availability on ITVX from 15 October 2025. This is a documented commercial distribution relationship, separate from the Airbus payload-hosting agreement and the wider ISS programme. [5]
Ownership record
The recorded interest is a personal shareholding. It does not confer an operational role within Sen, Airbus, ESA or NASA. Crowdcube is the platform named in the source record; that entry does not establish the legal nominee arrangement. No contract value, agency revenue or ownership percentage is stated here.
